To those who beleive in God and his creation

I am writing this to just capture my most beautiful Memories of my life before they evaporate from my mind .... But I am quiet sure these memories will stay with me for ever..... My trip to Gods own Country ( Kerala )

Before I start describing my experiences and adventures in Kerala. I would like to Thank Shifa ( My wife, My better Half) who always had this dream and vision to take me to Kerala on a holiday for at least 10 days ………….. trust me I loved each and every moment of my life in there…… Love you Shifa

Its June 2010 just saying adios to the Host summer and welcoming the Monsoons and those most awaited rains….. Shifa and Myself were just having a usual evening tea in our balcony watching the greens in front of our balcony from fifth floor…… Shifa Just said “ Annu ( That’s how shifa calls me ) I guess it’s the time to go to Kerala……….”

I said what ?????? Are you kidding…… With a sweet smile she says no I am serious. I just picked my phone and called my friend Shafnan ( Shafnan is my friend and is from Kerala ) I just checked with on the Climate and Monsoon conditions in Kerala.

Shafnan was totally unconvinced with our idea to travel Kerala in Monsoon, as its going to rain heavily all trough the day and we may not really enjoy the greens and backwaters.

Shifa was strong with her point and she already made her mind and solid plans to travel. Well I had not other option but calling the Thomas cook and other Holiday Package tour people to know the total cost for 8 nights and 9 days complete kerala Package.

Finally the day has come, June 25th 2010 Friday 5:30 pm our Trip start date. We planned som

e thing different. We first wanted to go to Bangalore (Karnataka) meet some of our friends and travel the neighborhood Kerala. We landed to Satish’s House ( Satish I know him since 2007 when I was working in Bangalore) We had a great time there at his home, had Karnataka traditional food ( pure Ghee Poli’s with Mango Pulp and Cane sugar mixed) that was really awesome.

We took Rajahamsa ( Karnataks’ state Transport Bus) to Munnar from Bangalore Santhinagar Bus Stand. We took the bus at 10:00 pm after we had our dinner in Sarvana Bhavan. So excited t

o see Munnar the next morning we then slept off wishing to see a beautiful morning,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

7th June 2010 - Its 7:00 am , I just happened to open my Eye as the driver was honking to clear of his way……. Wowwwwwwwwwwwwww What a beautiful sight .. I couldn’t believe there such Beautiful place in Earth…. Long Long greens ….. The Morning Mist ….the flying birds…. The fresh rain waters passing through the rocks….

The Cattle finding their greens …never ending list….

I just woke up Shifa….. “Hmmmmmmmmmm Annu let me sleep….” That was her expression. Some how I managed to wake her up … Believe me She just jumped of her seat and was screaming “wow Annu Wow…………..” That’s were I thought the real Trip started

Believe me This is one of the best narrow road way one will enjoy from Bangalore to Munnar. Thanks to satishj who gave this Idea of traveling Munnar from Bangalore that too by reoad. We would have missed all this joy if we had taken flight to Kochin and then travel to Munnar.

After enjoying those morning greens we reach Munnar Finally at 10:30 am. There I see Mr.Suresh ( Driver cum Guide ) arranged by my Tour Person waiting for us near the Munnar Bus stand.
